Figure 17-9 shows an example of an ROADM with 32DMX-O cards installed.

Figure 17-10 shows an example of a reconfigurable OADM east-to-west optical signal flow. The
west-to-east optical signal flow follows an identical path through the west OSC-CSM and west 32WSS
modules. In this example, OSC-CSM modules are installed so OPT-BST modules are not needed.
