Typical dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) applications might include:
• 3 ONS 15454 shelves
• 1 Dispersion Compensating Unit (DCU)
• 7 patch panels (or fiber-storage trays)
Or, alternatively:
• 3 ONS 15454 shelves
• 2 DCUs
• 6 patch panels (or fiber-storage trays)
See Figure 15-15 for a typical rack layout.
