Curling is reduced by bending in the reverse direction of the curl created at the fuser nip and forcibly
adding resilience using the fusing exit roller [B], fuser exit driven roller [C], and fusing junction gate [A],
located at the fuser nip exit.
The fusing junction gate is retracted for duplex printing/thick paper to prevent image smearing.
Drive
The fusing junction gate [C] is rotated via the arm [B] by turning ON the fusing exit drive solenoid
[A] located on the main machine side.
When the solenoid is ON, the fusing junction gate is at no curl correction position.
