Energy Saving Functions
To reduce its power consumption, this machine has the following functions:
Off Mode or Sleep Mode
This product automatically lowers its power consumption when it is not operated for a fixed time
(standard setting time: 1 minute). This is called “Off Mode” on a single function copying machine,
and “Sleep Mode” on a multiple function machine equipped with optional scanner and printing
functions.
• Off Mode: Same as the condition when the operation switch is turned off.
• Sleep Mode: Same as the condition when the operation switch is turned off. Receiving fax
messages and printing from a computer are possible.
