MEASUrement:IMMed:DELay:DIREction
Description
This command sets or returns the starting point and direction that deter-
mines the delay ”to” edge when taking an immediate delay measure-
ment. Use the MEASUrement:IMMed:SOURCE2 command to specify
the delay ”to” waveform. This command is equivalent to selecting Mea-
surement Setup from the Measure menu, choosing the Time tab, click-
ing the Delay button to display the delay settings and then clicking the
desired Search Direction setting.

Arguments
H BACKWards
This starts the search at the end of the waveform and looks for the last
rising or falling edge in the waveform.
H FORWards
This starts the search at the beginning of the waveform and looks for
the first rising or falling edge in the waveform.
Example 1
MEASUrement:IMMed:DELay:DIREction FORWards
This command starts searching from the beginning of the waveform
record and looks for the first rising or falling edge.
Example 2
MEASUrement:IMMed:DELay:DIREction?
This query might return
:MEASUREMENT:IMMED:DELAY:DIRECTION BACKWARDS
indicating that searching begins at the end of the waveform record and
looks for the last rising or falling edge.
