4 Faults and alarms
4.2 List of faults and alarms
The diagnostics data is saved in the following folder:
/USER/SINAMICS/DATA/SMTRC00.BIN
...
/USER/SINAMICS/DATA/SMTRC07.BIN
/USER/SINAMICS/DATA/SMTRCIDX.TXT
The following information is contained in the TXT file:
- Display of the last written BIN file.
- Number of write operations that are still possible (from 10000 downwards).
Note:
Only Siemens can evaluate the BIN files.
Remedy: Not necessary.
The alarm disappears automatically.
The data logger is ready to record the next fault case.

A32940 (F, N) Encoder 2: Spindle sensor S1 voltage incorrect
Message value: %1
Message class: Application / technological function faulted (17)
Drive object: DC_CTRL, DC_CTRL_R, DC_CTRL_R_S, DC_CTRL_S
Reaction: NONE
Acknowledge: NONE
Cause: The voltage of analog sensor S1 is outside the permissible range.
Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal):
Signal level from sensor S1.
Note:
A signal level of 500 mV corresponds to the numerical value 500 dec.
Remedy: - Check the clamped tool.
- Check the tolerance and if required, adapt (p5040).
- Check the thresholds and if required, adapt (p5041).
- Check analog sensor S1 and connections.
Reaction upon F: NONE (IASC/DCBRK, OFF1, OFF2, OFF3, STOP2)

F32950 Encoder 2: Internal software error

Message class: Hardware / software error (1)

Acknowledge: POWER ON
Cause: An internal software error has occurred.
Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal):
Information about the fault source.
Only for internal Siemens troubleshooting.
Remedy: - If necessary, upgrade the firmware in the Sensor Module to a later version.
