19.16 Analog Input (X8)
The drive is fitted with one differential input for analog torque, velocity, or position control.

l Accuracy: 13 Bit
l Input resistance:30 kohms
l Common-mode voltage range for both inputs: ± 10 V
l Update rate: 25 µs

Application examples for set point input Analog-In:
l adjustable external current limit
l reduced-sensitivity input for setting-up/jog operation
l pre-control/override
Defining the direction of rotation
Standard setting: clockwise rotation of the motor shaft (looking at the shaft end) affected by positive voltage
between terminal X8/10 (+ ) and terminal X8/9 ( - )
To reverse the direction of rotation, swap the connections to terminals X8/9-10, or change the DRV.DIR param-
eter in the Feedback screen page.
