Description
DRV.CLRFAULTS tries to clear all active faults in the drive. If the command succeeds, then the reply to
DRV.FAULTS states that no faults exist. If the command fails, then the fault condition is still present.
When a fault occurs, the fault is registered in the drive fault handler. DRV.CLRFAULTS clears the fault from the
drive fault handler. However, if the fault still exists in the system, DRV.CLRFAULTS fails and the fault is re-reg-
istered in the fault handler.
Note that executing a drive disable (DRV.DIS) followed by a drive enable (DRV.EN) has the same effect as
executing DRV.CLRFAULTS.
