The serial interface COM2 is connected to a 9-pin D-sub connector. It is configurable for
RS-232 and RS-485 and can be used (depending on the processor module) for:
● Online access (RS-232 programming interface for Automation Builder)
● A free protocol
● Modbus RTU, client and server
COM2 is not intended to establish a CS31 system bus.
TB5x3-2ETH terminal bases have no COM2 D-sub connector.
