Step 3 Verify that the BLSR DRI interconnect nodes have OC-N cards installed and have fiber connections to
the other interconnect nodes:
• The OC-N cards that will connect the BLSRs must be installed at the interconnect nodes.
• The interconnect nodes must have fiber connections. Figure 5-4 shows an example of fiber
connections for a traditional two-fiber BLSR DRI.
