were 512 to 1023 octets in length

etherStatsJabbers Total number of packets longer than 1518 octets that were not an
integral number of octets or had a bad FCS
etherStatsOctets The total number of octets of data (including those in bad
packets) received on the network (excluding framing bits but
including FCS octets)
etherStatsCollisions Best estimate of the total number of collisions on this segment

payload coming in from the SONET transmit (TX) direction
ifOutOversizePkts Number of packets larger than 1518 bytes sent out into SONET.
Packets larger than 1600 bytes do not get transmitted.
etherStatsDropEvents Number of received frames dropped at the port level
