NOTE: The dialog box does not allow you to select a single device and delete it from the node
when you click Delete, instead the entire node is deleted along with all of the devices.
Node Trunk/IP Connection Groups
4.143 Each node has a list of node trunk or node IP connection groups that are used to access
the remote node. The node IP connection groups correspond to an IP connection between a
remote node and a local node. For each node in the network, you must define the routes to
every other node. For example, in a network with four nodes, you would define three routes for
each node (one to each of the other three nodes). See Appendix A — Networking for a sample
of node programming. To program the node trunk or node IP connection groups included in
this node, double-click on
Node Trunk/IP Connection Groups and then do the following:
4.144 To add trunk or IP connection groups to the list: Note that this is an ordered list.
Place the trunk or IP connection groups in the list in the order you want them to be accessed
when the hunt group receives a call.
1. To add to the bottom of the list: Do not highlight any existing trunk or IP connection
groups and right-click anywhere in the right side of the window. An option box appears.
To add to the list above an existing trunk group: Highlight the trunk or IP connection
group and then right-click. An option box appears.
2. Select Add To Node Trunk/IP Connection Groups List. A window appears that asks
you to select the type of device to include.
3. Select Node Trunk Group or Node IP Connection Group and then select Next. A list
appears. (You can view them in a list by selecting the List button or view details by
selecting the Details button.)

items you want. To highlight two or more items that are not consecutive, hold down
CTRL while selecting the desired items.

the node trunk groups necessary, select
Finish. Your selections appear in the list.

extension number to jump to its programming area.
4.145 To move a trunk or IP connection group to another location in the list: Drag and
drop the trunk or IP connection group to the new position. Or, highlight the trunk or IP connec-
tion group to move and press
CTRL + the up/down arrow to move the trunk or IP connection
group up or down in the list.
