9. VOICE PROCESSING UNIT CAPACITIES
NOTE: As of version 8.0, the OS/2 Voice Processing Unit is no longer supported.
9.1 Listed below are some of the Voice Processing features with maximum capacities that
are dependent on system resources.
9.2 For Voice Processing Unit capacities when using the Embedded Voice Mail Card
(EVMC) see “Appendix D — CPC64/CPU64 Configuration” on page D-1.

CAUTION
Although version 7.0 or later DB Programming allows you to configure 64 voice mail ports,
the Voice Processing unit (not the EM system) currently supports a maximum of only 40
ports. Attempting to configure 64 voice mail ports may cause serious performance issues.
