E. SERVICE LOG TAB
22.8 The Service Log tab fields determine the file sizes and storage capacity for the service
logs.
• File Name: Enter the name, up to 50 characters, of the system service log file. The
default name is icp.log and is stored by default in the service log directory.
• File Size: Enter the size of the system service log file in kilobytes (100-4,200,000). It
determines how large an individual log file may grow before it is backed up in the ser-
vice log directory. The default size is 256 KB.
• Total Files: Enter the number (1-99) of system service log backup files that will be kept
in the service log directory. The default is five files.
• Service Log Directory: Enter the directory path and name, up to 200 characters, where
the service log files are kept, or click
Browse to invoke the standard browse window.
By default, this is the C:\ICP.
NOTE: Do not store the log files on a network/shared drive.
