12. STATION INSTRUMENTS

12.1 To allow system flexibility and cost efficiency, a variety of station instruments can be
used on the Inter-Tel System. They are:
• 8-, 12-, and 24-Line AIM Analog Phones
• 8-, 12-, and 24-Line Inter-Tel/DVK Analog Phones
• 12-, and 24-Line GMX Analog Phones
• 8-, 12-, and 24-Line IMX Analog Phones
• IDS Model 160
NOTE: The system does not support the Model 160's serial port, which IDS custom-
ers typically use for TAPI applications. Customers may use System Open Architecture
Interface (OAI) or the Professional or Associate Display Phones instead.
• IDS Model 64 (not applicable to Europe)
• IDS Model 32 (not applicable to Europe)
• IDS Model 18 (not applicable to Europe)
• IDS Model 12 (not applicable to Europe)
• IDS Agent Terminal (not applicable to Europe)
• 29-Key Wave Phone (not applicable to Europe)
NOTE: The 28-Key Wave Phone is not supported.

• Agent Terminal (not applicable to Europe)
NOTE: Similar to the Model 160, the system does not support the Agent Terminal's
serial port. Also, only the primary headset jack is supported.

ble to Europe)
