C. HUNT GROUP TIMERS
9.13 Several timers are programmed on a hunt group-by-hunt group basis, as shown in the
following table.
Table 5-7. Hunt Group Timers
Timer Default Range Purpose
No Answer
Advance
18
seconds
1-255
seconds
Determines the amount of time a call rings at a hunt group
station or extension list (unanswered) before advancing to
the next station or extension list on the hunt group list.
Announcement
18
seconds
1-255
seconds
(UCD Hunt Groups Only) Determines the amount of time a
call remains unanswered before it is sent to the hunt group's
announcement station. UCD Hunt Groups software licenses
are required.
Overflow
72
seconds
1-255
seconds
(UCD Hunt Groups Only) Determines the amount of time a
call circulates through the hunt group (unanswered) before
being sent to the hunt group's overflow station. This timer is
started when the Announcement timer expires or, if there is
no announcement station, when the call is received by the
hunt group. It is restarted each time the call leaves the over-
flow station. UCD Hunt Groups software licenses are
required.
Recall
180
seconds
1-65535
seconds
Determines the amount of time a call circulates through the
hunt group (unanswered) before being sent to the hunt
group's recall destination station. This timer is started when
the call is received by the hunt group.
Wrap-Up Duration
15
seconds
1-65535
seconds
(ACD Hunt Groups Only) Each time an agent ends an ACD
hunt group call, the ACD Wrap-Up Duration timer starts.
From the moment this timer starts until that timer expires, the
agent does not receive calls through any ACD hunt group;
however, calls in an agent’s queue that were initiated before
the Wrap-Up Duration timer starts are delivered to the agent
for servicing. In the Wrap-Up state, the agent can receive
non-ACD hunt group calls, direct ring-in calls, and trans-
ferred calls. The default value is 15 seconds, and the range
is 1-65535 seconds, or up to 18 hours.
Average Connect
Time Per Call
60
seconds
1-10,000
seconds
(UCD Hunt Groups Only) A Voice Processing Unit applica-
tion announcement station's message can be programmed to
include the caller's queue position and/or estimated wait
time. The estimated wait time is based on the Average Con-
nect Time Per Call multiplied by the number of calls ahead of
the caller in the queue, divided by the number of available
hunt group members (avg. connect time per call x no. of
waiting calls ÷ available members). (See page 5-39 for more
information.) UCD Hunt Groups software licenses are
required.
