3. APPLICATION-RELATED INFORMATION
3.1 Voice Processor Application-Related Information includes the following areas:
• Audiotex Recordings (see below)
• Time Slot Groups (see page 6-354)
• Voice Mail Information (see page 6-354)
• Auto Attendant Information (see page 6-355)
3.2 A program planning sheet that lists the Application-Related fields is included on the
software CD-ROM, Documentation folder.
A. AUDIOTEX RECORDINGS
3.3 For VPUs, this programming area allows you to assign a description to each Audiotex
recording. It also allows you to view the length of each recording. For EM units, this program-
ming area allows you to view the recording number and assign a description to each Audiotex
recording that has been re-recorded. It also allows you to view the length of each recording.
Note that DB Studio only displays recording information (recording number, description, and
length) for those Audiotex recordings that have already been re-recorded. See page 4-58 for
more information about creating and changing Audiotex recordings.
3.4 This programming area allows you to assign a description to each Audiotex recording.
It also allows you to view the length of each recording.
3.5 To enter the Audiotex Recordings programming area, double-click on
Audiotex
Recording
or right-click and then choose Explore Audiotex Recordings.
3.6 Description: To change the description of a recording, click once on the current
description. When the text box appears, type the new description, up to 20 characters. Then
press
ENTER or click on another recording to save the change.
NOTE: If desired, you can use Cut, Paste, Copy, or Delete to modify the descriptions. When
the current description is highlighted in the text box, simply right-click and select the desired
operation.
3.7 Recording Length: Recording length is shown in seconds. This is presented for refer-
ence only. It cannot be changed here. It will change only if the recording is re-recorded by the
System Administrator.
