10. STATION-RELATED INFORMATION
10.1 Station-related programming includes the following areas:
• Account Codes (see below)
• Attendants (see page 6-303)
• Audio Diagnostics (see page 6-304)
• Flags (see page 6-305)
• Key Assignments (see page 6-306)
• Message Centers (see page 6-314)
• Messages (see page 6-314)
• Primary Attendants (see page 6-315)
• System Forwarding Paths (see page 6-316)
• System Speed Dial (see page 6-317)
• Keyset DB Programming Password (see page 6-318)
10.2 Each of these programming areas is described in detail in the following pages.
A. ACCOUNT CODES
10.3 There can be up to 500 account codes (5000 if using a CP Server). The default database
does not contain any account codes. Forced and Standard account codes may be individually or
batch created in DB Programming. Unneeded codes may be removed by right-clicking and
choosing Delete.
10.4 To program account codes, select Account Codes from the Station-Related Information
programming area. When you double-click on
Account Codes, the following options appear:
• Forced
• None
• Standard
• Maximum Account Code Length
10.5 There can be up to 256 of each type of account code (512 in a quad-chassis system).
10.6 Maximum account code length can be up to 12 digits. Account codes can be of varying
lengths as long as they do not exceed the maximum. For example, if maximum length is four
digits, 1, 11, 111, and 1111 can be entered as separate account codes.
10.7 In a network, the system validates account codes against the account code table on the
user’s node. The account code follows the call as it moves from node to node and appears on
every SMDR record associated with the call.
