Call Routing
Announcements (CRA)
Needs a description and username, attendant, time slot,
transfer recall destination (can be a station, hunt group, or
another local or off-node Call Routing Announcement appli-
cation), music-on-hold information, and ASR settings. It can
also have digit translation, including digit translation nodes.
By default it uses the Voice Mail day and night greetings, but
these can be changed. The greeting can include pauses and
can announce queue position and/or time to wait. The digit
translations may also require Audiotex recordings (greet-
ings). If using Fax-On-Demand the application requires a fax
delivery destination. If in a network, it can be programmed to
accept AMIS calls.
Message Notification/
Retrieval (MNR) (see page 6-
369 for programming details)
Required for message notification, Remote Messaging, and
Fax-On-Demand. Needs a description and username, atten-
dant, time slot, transfer recall destination, toll restriction
class of service, music-on-hold information, and ASR set-
tings. Does not use a greeting. Also needs to be pro-
grammed for outgoing access in Trunk Group Programming.
Record-A-Call (RAC) (see
page 6-369 for programming
details)
Needs a description, username, time slot, music-on-hold
information, and ASR settings. By default it uses the Voice
Mail day and night greetings, but these can be changed.
STAR (see page 6-369 for
programming details)
Needs a description, username, default application, time
slot, music-on-hold information, and ASR settings. Each of
the schedules within the STAR application require: descrip-
tion, application, specific date(s), start and stop date, days of
the week, specific time(s), start and stop time, and day/night
mode.
Voice Mail (VM) Required for subscriber and non-subscriber access to voice
mailboxes. Needs a description and username, attendant,
time slot, transfer recall destination, music-on-hold informa-
tion, and ASR settings. The day and night greetings can be
changed or you can use the default greetings. Additional
programming required includes: System Administrator mail-
box and Subscriber mailboxes.
