button (both buttons go off). You hear a progress tone. Display phones show
ANY CALL FORWARD CANCELED.
Single-Line Set: Lift the handset, enter any Call Forwarding feature code (355-358),
and hang up.
37. REDIRECT CALL
37.1 The Redirect Call feature allows the phone user to route ringing outside, intercom, and
camped on calls to another station, hunt group, or outside number. This is in addition to the
currently available option of redirecting calls to voice mail or Do-Not-Disturb. Routing redi-
rected calls is subject to toll and trunk restrictions and does not require any software licenses.
37.2 To redirect a call:
Phones with menu buttons: Select the
SEND TO DEST menu option or enter the Redi-
rect Ringing Call feature code (331) followed by the destination number. Then hang up.
Other Phones: Enter the Redirect Ringing Call feature code (331) followed by the des-
tination number. Then hang up.
If the station receiving the redirect call has a display phone, the display shows EXT
XXXX FWD FROM EXT XXXX. If the system does not redirect a call to a destina-
tion, it rings back at the original station.
37.3 The call types listed below do not follow call forwarding and cannot be redirected:
• Agent Help Request calls
• Queue Callback calls
• Recalls
37.4 In addition, calls may not be redirected to the following destinations:
• Restricted outside numbers
• Stations in Do-Not-Disturb mode
• Stations that are forwarded
• Another station’s mailbox
• The original station (display phones show CALL FORWARDED TO SOURCE)
• An unreachable destination
37.5 If an ARS, trunk group, or trunk number is entered, the phone system prompts the user
to enter the destination telephone number. Calls may not be redirected to a node number, but
may be redirected to a station on another node by entering the correct extension number.
37.6 If the applicable Forwarding timer expires before the user completes the redirection
process, the system terminates the call.
