H. PRIMARY ATTENDANTS
10.45 When you select Primary Attendants from the Station-Related Programming list, you
see fields for programming the Primary Attendant Station and the Local Attendant Station.
Those fields are programmed as described below.
Primary Attendant Station: This is the network primary attendant.
Local Attendant Station: This is the attendant for the node being programmed.
10.46 If an attendant is set to None, calls that would normally go to the attendant are handled
as follows:
If the system has seized the call, but it has not been sent to a station, the call is discon-
nected.
If the call has been sent to a station, it remains at the station and rings until answered.
If the call is not seized and not sent to a station, the caller hears ringing until the caller
hangs up. The call will not ring at any station.
10.47 To program an attendant do one of the following:
Method A
1. Select the current Value and enter the new value in the text box.
2. Press ENTER. A screen appears showing you what is associated with the number you
entered.
3. Select OK. The new number appears in the field.
Method B
1. Right-click on the existing Primary Attendant Station or Local Attendant Station. An
option box appears.
2. Select the Change Attendant Station option. A window appears that asks you to select
