D. UNDELIVERABLE MESSAGES DESTINATION TYPE
9.23 This field is used to determine the destination for all network messages which are unde-
liverable. It can have a value of Delete, Sender, or System Administrator.
When the field is set to Delete, all undeliverable messages are deleted.
When the field is set to Sender, all undeliverable messages are returned to the sender if
possible. If the sender is unknown, the messages are returned to the System Administra-
tors mailbox. If the System Administrator’s mailbox does not exist, then the messages
are deleted.
When the field is set to System Administrator, all undeliverable messages are returned
to the System Administrators mailbox, if it exists, otherwise the messages are deleted.
9.24 The default value for this field is Delete. To set the Undeliverable Messages Destination
Type, select the drop-down list box and scroll to the desired setting. Then press
ENTER or
click on another field to save the change.
