4.7 This section provides an example of how to set up a network using the IPRC based on
the information provided in the following tables.

NOTE: System software v9.0 and later provides a networking wizard to simplify the required
programming for private networking. See page 6-87 for more information about the networking
wizard.
1.
Under System\Cabinets, add and equip an IPRC (see page 6-145).
2. When prompted, enter the P6XXY extension (i.e., P6010) for the local node.
3. Under System\Devices and Feature Codes\Nodes, create all of the remote nodes (see
page 6-190). Program the Description and Username for each node.
4. Under System\Devices and Feature Codes\IP Connections\Local\P6XXY, program the
Static IP Address (i.e., 192.168.0.1), Static Subnet Mask, and Static Gateway Address
fields (see page 6-172).
