F. ADMINISTRATOR FEATURE CODES
4.8 The following feature codes may be used only at designated administrator stations.
Non-administrator station users hear reorder tones if they attempt to use these feature codes.
Table 5-3. Administrator Feature Codes
Feature Name
U.S. [Europe]
Code
Definition
Automatic Diagnostics Enable/Disable 9823 Enables/disables the Automatic Diagnostics Delivery
(ADD) feature. Use this code only when directed to do
so by Technical Support.
Clear Network Alarm 9851 Clears network-wide alarms on every node in the net-
work, but does not affect system alarms. The Clear Net-
work Alarm feature code may be entered on any node in
the network, but the Send Network Alarms flag must be
set for the administrator to clear alarms on other nodes
in the network.
Clear System Alarm 9850 Clears all local and network-wide system alarm displays
on your node.
Compression On/Off 9982 [9182] Compresses call processing messages sent to DB Pro-
gramming, speeding up transfers. You should not dis-
able this feature unless instructed to do so by Inter-Tel
personnel.
Compression Statistics 9981 [9181] Dumps various statistics related to the DB Programming
compression algorithm. This feature should be used only
when directed to do so by Inter-Tel personnel.
Diagnostics On/Off 9900 [9100] Enables or disables system diagnostics mode so that
the database can be frozen and/or unfrozen, message/
reset logs can be printed, and devices seized using the
diagnostic feature codes.
Enable Network Day 9862 Places any or all remote nodes into day mode (you are
prompted for the node number).
Enable Network Night 9861 Places any or all remote nodes into night mode (you are
prompted for the node number).
Modem Disable 9867 Disables the modem on the Call Processing Card
(CPC). If disabled, the modem is placed into DND. In
this state, the modem rejects all calls and does not allow
camp ons.
Modem Enable 9866 Enables the CPC modem. When enabled, the modem
can be used for DB Programming or as a serial port.
Modem Reset 9869 Resets the CPC modem, dropping any call that is cur-
rently connected to the modem.
NOTE: Do not reset the modem if it is connected to a
DB Programming session. If you do, the programming
session is dropped, potentially corrupting the database.
For this reason, Inter-Tel strongly recommends that the
System Administrator assign the modem extension to a
DSS/BLF button.
