MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
Stations on the Local Node
PROGRAMMING
6
4.209 User-Keyed Extension: If desired, the station user can be allowed (or required) to enter
the Agent Help Extension number. Enable this flag to allow the station user to enter the desired
extension number. Or, disable the flag to automatically dial the Agent Help Extension pro-
grammed above (or disable the Agent Help feature for the station if there is no Agent Help
Extension). Enable this flag by selecting the current Value and then selecting the check box to
place a check in it. Then press
ENTER or select another field to save the change. (To remove
the check and disable the flag, select the check box again.) The operation of the feature is
determined by the programmed combination of these flags, as shown in the chart below.
Attached Device
4.210 (This field is used for digital phones only.) Indicate the type of attached device if a DSS,
Desktop Interface, or Desktop OAI IP is connected to the phone. Or, if nothing is connected,
select
None. To set this field, select the Attached Device current Value and use the drop-down
list to scroll to the desired option. Then press
ENTER or click outside the field to save your
change.
Attached Device Bit Rate
4.211 (This field is used for digital phones only.) If the Attached Device is set for “Desktop
Interface”, you can set the bit rate of the PCDPM attached to the digital display phone. Valid
rates are 300, 600, 1200, 2400, and 4800 (1200, 2400, and 4800 for a system serial port). This
can be re-programmed by the phone user. To set this field, select the Attached Device Bit Rate
current Value and use the drop-down list to scroll to the desired option. Then press
ENTER or
click outside the field to save your change.
Associated Outside Number
4.212 (This field is used for B-channel stations only.) This field is used to override the dialed
outside number in an ISDN setup request message to a B-channel station. Some B-channel sta-
tions expect the same dialed outside number, or it will not accept the ISDN call.
4.213 With a U.S. system, on a BRI trunk using DNIS, the ISDN information in the System
sends the dialed number DN (Directory Number) or DNIS to the BRI station port, then the BRI
station port sends this DN or DNIS number to the ISDN device. The ISDN device must have
the matching number programmed in its DN table or directory table, or the call will be
rejected.
