Forced – Toll (National) Calls Non-Validated: Requires the user to enter an account
code after dialing a national call when ARS is used. The code is not checked against
any lists, and the call is allowed as soon as the code is entered.
None: Does not require the user to enter an account code. The user may still use
optional account codes or enable the Account Code For All Calls Following feature, as
desired.
10.9 Forced Account Codes: When you double-click on
Forced account codes you have the
following programming options:
Non-Validated and Validated: When you select either of these options you see a list of
account code types. When you select one of the account code types, you will see a list
of stations that have been assigned to that account code list.
Account Codes 001-512: To enter a new account code, select the current Value for the
code and enter the new digits in the text box. The press
ENTER or select another field
to save the change. If you attempt to add an account code that has already been
assigned, an error message tells you that every account code must be a unique number.
You must enter a different number.
10.10 To add a device to an account code list:
1. Right-click anywhere in the right side of the window. An option box appears.
2. Select Add To List. A window appears that asks you to select the type of device to
include.
3. Select the device type(s) and then select Next. A list appears. (You can view them in a
list by selecting the List button or view details by selecting the Details button.)
NOTE: To highlight a series of items, hold down SHIFT while selecting the first and last
items you want. To highlight two or more items that are not consecutive, hold down
CTRL while selecting the desired items.
4.
Highlight the appropriate items and then select Add Items. When you have added all
the devices select
Finish. Your selections appear in the list.
NOTE: If you want to see the programming for a specific item, double-click on its
extension number to jump to its programming area.
10.11 To delete a device from a list: To delete one or more item from the list, highlight them
and then right-click. Select
Remove Selected Items.
B. ATTENDANTS
10.12 A station can be designated as an attendant and assigned a list of stations that it will
serve. When you select Attendants from the Station-Related Programming area, you can view a
list of the existing attendants.
10.13 If you double-click on a specific attendant, you can view the list of stations it serves.
10.14 To create an attendant, enable a station’s Attendant flag (as described on page 6-209).
10.15 To assign the stations served by the attendant:
1. Right-click anywhere in the right side of the window. An option box appears.
2. Select Add To List. A window appears that asks you to select the type of device to
include.
