Printing Reports
10.12 To print the selected reports, exit to the Manual Report Generation directory. Then
right-click on
Report Selection and select Print Selected Reports.
C. OUTPUT DEVICE
10.13 Select this drop-down list box to scroll to the output device on the Voice Processing PC.
For a Voice Processing Unit, your options are FILE or LPT1. For an EVMC system, your
option is File only. For an EM system, your options are FILE or EMAIL Then press
ENTER or
click on another field to save the change.
NOTE: If “LTP1” is selected, a printer must be attached to the parallel port on the voice mail
server. If “File” is selected, the Output Destination field must also be programmed.
D. OUTPUT DESTINATION
10.14 This is used only if the output device is “FILE.” or “E-mail.”
10.15 If the Output Device is File, enter the name of the desired file in the File text box (for
example, C:\avdap\reports.txt). Then press
ENTER or click on another field to save the change.
The system will validate that the specified drive output is defined, but will not validate that the
path exists on the Voice Processing PC. Instead, the database manager merely verifies that the
file’s syntax is correct (e.g., check for valid characters). If only the file name is entered then the
system will save the report using the file name under the Avdap directory.
10.16 If the Output Device is E-mail, enter the e-mail address (for example, john-
doe@abc.com) in the text box. Then press
ENTER or click another field to save the change.
NOTE: If the e-mail address is invalid or if the destination mailbox is full, the system generates
a voice mail message indicating that the report could not be delivered. This message is left in
the system administrator's voice mailbox.
