8.15 To select the Enable Diagnostics option:
1. Select the existing Value.
2. Place a check mark in the check box.
3. Press ENTER or click another field to save the change.
NOTE: To disable this option, remove the check mark from the check box.
Enable Auto Schedule
8.16 The Enable Auto Schedule field specifies whether the automatic system reboot and/or
maintenance is enabled or disabled. By default, this flag is disabled.
8.17 To select the Enable Auto Schedule option:
1. Select the existing Value.
2. Place a check mark in the check box.
3. Press ENTER or click another field to save the change.
NOTE: To disable this option, remove the check mark from the check box.
Auto Schedule Start Time
8.18 Auto Schedule Start Time: The Auto Schedule Start Time field specifies the time of
the day when the automatic system maintenance will be performed (on the days chosen in Auto
Reboot or Auto Maintenance). The Auto Schedule Start Time field is programmable only if the
Enable Auto Schedule flag has been enabled.
8.19 To program the Auto Schedule Start Time field:
1. Select the existing Value.
2. Set the time using the scroll box.
3. Press ENTER or click another field to save the change.
8.20 For information on how to set up and perform automatic Voice Processor database
backups, see below.
B. VOICE PROCESSOR DATABASE BACKUP WITH WINDOWS-BASED VPU
8.21 This section describes the procedure for performing automatic Voice Processor database
backups under Windows-based VPU. These backups can be written to a local drive, a network
drive, or to an attached mass-media device. The Voice Processor is not functional for the dura-
tion of the backup. When using a network drive, you can configure the Voice Processor to
backup to a local drive first to minimize downtime.
8.22 To configure the system to perform automatic backups:
1. Start the Watchdog Configuration Utility.
2. Click on the Maintenance tab.
3. Enable the Maintenance Enabled flag (a check mark appears).
4. Enter the time of day when the backups will be performed in the Maintenance Time
field.
