NOTE: The Audio Diagnostics feature is not available with System OAI Display Control
because the external applications have control of the menu buttons and dialpad.
54.15 To enable audio diagnostics for a station, set the Audio Diagnostics flag (Sys-
tem\Devices and Feature Codes\Stations\Local\<extension>\Flags to
Yes. If the user accesses
the Audio Diagnostics feature but does not respond to the prompts on the display, the feature
times out after 30 seconds. If the user or the other party terminates the call before completing
the diagnostics, the feature is terminated. When the feature times out or is terminated, the diag-
nostics information is not captured.
54.16 To program audio diagnostics for the system, see page 6-304. For troubleshooting infor-
mation, see page 7-27.
Audio Problem
54.17 When the Audio Diagnostics feature (default feature code 320) is used, the system
prompts the user to select a possible audio problem. Six-line display endpoint users can either
press the menu button that corresponds to the displayed audio problem or enter the numeric
codes. The 2-line display and non-LCD display endpoint users must enter the numeric codes
because they do not have menu buttons.
54.18 The following table shows 12 audio problems and their assigned numbers. Although
there are 12 pre-defined audio problems as shown in the table below, only four can be enabled
in DB Studio. In v9.115 or later system, the first four audio problem numbers are selected by
default.
