MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
System Timers and Limits
PROGRAMMING
6
System Forward Initiate 15 2-255 seconds Determines how long a call will ring (unanswered) at
the principal station before advancing to the first for-
warding point in a system forwarding path.
Transfer – Attendant 30 10-255 seconds When an attendant transfers a call, this timer limits
the time a transferred call rings unanswered before it
recalls the attendant.
Transfer – Available 20 10-255 seconds Limits time a transferred call rings unanswered
before it recalls the transferring station. (Does not
apply to calls transferred by attendant stations or the
Voice Processor or calls transferred to a busy sta-
tion.)
Transfer – Busy 24 10-255 seconds Limits time a transferred call waits at a busy station
before recalling the transferring station. (Does not
apply to calls transferred by attendant stations or
Voice Processor or to calls transferred to an idle sta-
tion.)
Transfer – Voice Proces-
sor
20 10-255 seconds Limits time a transferred call waits at a Voice Proces-
sor destination before recalling the programmed
recall destination.
Trunk Busy Out 180 1-65535 seconds When a trunk is made busy using the administrator
DB Programming option (see page 5-289), this timer
starts. When it expires (or the administrator cancels
the busyout), the trunk is again made available.
Trunk Key Debounce 3 1-30 seconds The length of time the system will ignore subsequent
attempts to press a trunk button once it has been
pressed. This prevents a phone user from acciden-
tally disconnecting a call by re-selecting the trunk but-
ton if the button is pressed twice while answering a
call.
NOTE: The database contains a CO/IC Reseize sta-
tion flag that can be set to prevent users from reseiz-
ing a trunk. If selected, the station user cannot reseize
a trunk until it is disconnected by replacing the hand-
set, pressing the SPKR button, or pressing another
trunk button.
UCD Station Monitor Indi-
cation Frequency
15 1-255 seconds This is the length of the pause between hunt group
station monitoring tones.
Unsupervised CO 5 1-255 minutes Limits duration of outside calls transferred or for-
warded to outside telephone numbers before recall-
ing the primary attendant.
Valid Call 15 1-60 seconds Minimum duration of an outgoing call before it is
recorded in SMDR. Calls placed on hold or trans-
ferred are not subject to this timer.
