Introduction
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 The current release and earlier versions of software incorporate portions of open source
projects covered by various license agreements. In compliance with these agreements, copies
of licenses for the open source software titles have been reproduced in this section.
A. LIST OF LICENSES
1.2 The following source code was modified and incorporated in software developed for
the Inter-Tel Axxess Converged Communications Platform:
• GNU General Public License: Used by the following software (see page G-3 for
details).
— BusyBox: A version of the software is provided on the Inter-Tel Embedded Voice
Mail Card (EVMC)-Linux.
— Linux Kernel: The operating system modified for use on the Inter-Tel EVMC-
Linux.
• GNU Lesser General Public License: Used by a version of the GNU C library (glibc)
provided with the Inter-Tel EVMC-Linux platform (see page G-7 for details).
• MD5: Encryption code provided with the Inter-Tel Axxess Converged Communications
Platform (see page G-14 for details).

sion the numbered paragraphs begin with number one (1). References to those paragraphs
have been updated to reflect the Inter-Tel numbering scheme.
