12. If adding Voice Processing (VPC) or Fax cards to the Voice Processing Unit, install
them according to the instructions in this chapter. Verify the switch settings, cable con-
nections, and card options.
13. See the PROGRAMMING section of this manual to restore the database and configure
and program the additions to the system. If you added an Options Card (OPC) for addi-
tional voice channels, make sure the voice channels are programmed correctly in the
database. If you upgraded to an ATM-based system, use the Database Merge Utility to
update the database (see page 6-23).
14. Train the end users on any new features or options that have been installed.
