Voice Processing Configuration
14.39 COM Port Tab: If “IP for ASAI Connection” in the IP Addresses Tab is not checked,
Voice Processing uses the serial port to communicate to Call Processing. Voice Processing also
uses the other serial port to poll for SMDR messages, if enabled.
14.40 These fields allow the user to specify the serial port used by Voice Processing and
whether or not to enable SMDR polling.
Serial Port for Voice Processing: Specifies COM1 or COM2 as the serial port to com-
municate to Call Processing. The default is COM1.
Enable SMDR Polling: Specifies whether or not Voice Processing should perform
SMDR polling on the other COM Port. The user can disable the SMDR polling if they
want to use the other COM port for DB Programming. The default is enabled.
14.41 Others Tab: The Others tab has the following fields:
Map B Drive: Specifies the drive (can be local or network) that Voice Processing maps
as B: drive during startup. It is used to backup Voice Processing data. This field is
optional. The default is empty.
