15.5 Voice Profile for Internet Mail (VPIM) allows Enterprise Messaging to communicate
with other voice processing systems. VPIM networking requires the Inter-Tel Messaging IP
Networking premium feature.
NOTE: To receive and send e-mail across the Internet to a remote site, Enterprise Messaging
needs access outside its local network. Information needs to come into port 25 on the Inter-Tel
Axxess. This may require changes to any firewall between the Inter-Tel Axxess and the Internet.
