Programming using M10 and M11 Programación mediante M10 y M11
As explained above, although the M11 command
does not work to clamp/unclamp a workpiece actu-
ally, it calls for the chuck interlock function to ensure
safe operation.
Tal y como se explica anteriormente, aunque la instrucción
M11 en realidad no sujeta/suelta realmente una pieza, llama a
la función de interbloqueo de plato para garantizar un funcio-

To start the next cycle after changing the
workpiece, it is necessary to step on the
footswitch to turn on the status indicator
"CHCL". Otherwise, the chuck interlock
function disables the cycle start.

ATENCION
In machining programs for both-center-work,
specify the M11 command to unclamp the chuck
before the M30 command to reset and rewind
the program. If the M11 command is not exe-
cuted and the [Cycle Start] switch is pressed
by mistake, automatic operation will start and
the operator may be injured.
En los programas de mecanizado para trabajo de dos
centros, especifique la instrucción M11 para soltar el
plato antes de la instrucción M30 para reiniciar y rebobi-
nar el programa. Si no se ejecuta la instrucción M11 y se
pulsa por error el conmutador [inicio del ciclo], se ini-
ciará una operación automática y el operador podrá
sufrir lesiones.
PRECAUCION
Do not clamp the spindle center in the chuck.
Clamping the center in the chuck will cause the
center, and therefore the workpiece, to shift or
fall when M11 is specified. (Applies only to
machines equipped with a tailstock.)
