5) Display the CURRENT POSITION (RELATIVE
COORDINATE) screen using the following proce-
dure.
a) Press the [ORIGIN] soft-key.
b) Press the [TOTAL AXIS] soft-key.
The incremental coordinate position data
for all the axes (U, W) is reset to "0.000".
6) Measure the X-axis backlash using the following
procedure.
a) Turn the manual pulse generator to feed
the X-axis in the plus direction until the
value on the screen reads "U: 0.050".
b) Feed the X-axis in the minus direction
until the value on the screen reads
"U: 0.000".
c) Read the dial on the lever type dial test
indicators and record the value.
Here, the value on the dial is assumed to
be "0.013".
d) Feed the X-axis in the minus direction
until the value on the screen reads
"U: −0.050".
e) Feed the X-axis in the plus direction until
the value on the screen reads "U: 0.000".
f) Read the dial on the lever type dial test
indicators.
Here, the value on the dial is assumed to
be "0.004".
The difference between the values
recorded in steps
c) and f) "0.013 − 0.004
= 0.009" is the axis backlash.
7) Measure the other axes using the same proce-
dure.
8) Record the backlash measurements and contact
the Mori Seiki Service Department for assistance.

que en la pantalla aparezca el valor "U: 0.000".
c) Lea y registre el valor indicado en el dial del
indicador de prueba mediante calibrador de dial.
En este caso, se supone que el valor indicado por
el dial es "0.013".
d) Haga avanzar el eje X en sentido negativo hasta
que en la pantalla aparezca el valor "U: −0.050".
e) Haga avanzar el eje X en sentido positivo hasta
que en la pantalla aparezca el valor "U: 0.000".
f) Lea el valor indicado en el indicador de prueba
mediante un calibrador de dial.
En este caso, se asume que el valor indicado por el
dial es "0.004".
La diferencia entre los valores obtenidos en los
pasos c) y f) "0.013 − 0.004 = 0.009" es el juego
del eje.
7) Mida la desviación de los otros ejes utilizando el mismo
procedimiento.
8) Registre las medidas de juego y póngase en contacto
con el departamento de atención al cliente de Mori Seiki
para recibir ayuda.
