MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
Internet Protocol Resources Card
Web and Telnet Password
3.153 The password is used to access the web server or telnet configuration tools. To change
the password, right-click on the field and select
Edit Password. Then enter the password, up
to nine characters long, in the New Password and Confirm Password text boxes. Click
OK to
accept the new password.
NOTE: Because this password can be used to access the IPRC via the Web or a Telnet ses-
sion, Inter-Tel recommends that you change the password.
Web and Telnet Server
3.154 If set to yes, allows you to use the Web/Telnet server configuration tool. You should use
the Web/Telnet configuration tool only for troubleshooting purposes because the IPRC does
not propagate changes made through the Web/Telnet configuration tool to call processing. In
addition, call processing may override any changes made through the Web/Telnet configuration
tool. By default, these fields are set to Ye s.
NOTE: To upload boot code to the IPRC using the Board Utility, you must enable the Web
Server option.
DTMF Configuration
3.155 You can program each IPRC to use a specific set of values that affect DTMF detection.
This configuration allows you to make the system more or less sensitive to DTMF tones,
which ultimately affects the amount of talkoff. (In general, the more sensitive the system is to
DTMF tones, the more likely talkoff is to occur.)
NOTE: To configure DTMF detection, IPRC firmware version 8.2.0 or later and Call Process-
ing v8.224 or later is required.
3.156 To change the DTMF detection settings, select the desired configuration in the DTMF
Configuration field. Then press
ENTER of click another field to save your changes. You have
the following options:
Industry Standard: Uses the industry standard settings for detecting DTMF tones. If
selected, the system is the most sensitive to DTMF tones, resulting in the most talkoff.
Inter-Tel 1: Provides less talkoff without drastically affecting DTMF detection. If
selected, the system is less sensitive to DTMF tones than the Industry Standard option,
resulting in less talkoff.
Inter-Tel 2: Provides significantly less talkoff than Inter-Tel 1, but DTMF detection is
moderately affected. This is the default setting.
Inter-Tel 3: Provides the least amount of talkoff, but DTMF detection is significantly
compromised. If selected, the system may not detect some dialed DTMF digits.
Custom: Uses the DTMF settings that are programmed in on-line monitor (OLM)
mode.
