MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
Programming Local Hunt Groups
Method B
1. Right-click on the existing value for the Announcement or Overflow station. An option
box appears.
2. Select Change. A window appears that asks you to select the type of device to include.
3. Select desired device type and then select Next. The list of devices appears. (You can
view them in a list by selecting the List button or view details by selecting the Details
button.)
4. Highlight the device you want as the Announcement or Overflow station and then select
Finish. Your selection appears in the appropriate field.
Audio for Calls Camped onto this Device
4.36 The Audio for Calls Camped onto this Device field defines the audio that a caller hears
when camped-on to this hunt group. To program this field, use the drop-down list to select the
type of audio and press
ENTER. Your options are Silence, Ticktone, Ringback, or Board. If you
select
Board, specify the music source in the Extended Value field. The default is Board, and
the default extended value is 01:08 Central Processor.
Audio for Calls Ringing this Device
4.37 The Audio for Calls Ringing this Device field defines the audio that a caller hears when
ringing this hunt group. To program this field, use the drop-down list to select the type of audio
and press
ENTER. Your options are Silence, Ticktone, Ringback, or Board. If you select
Board, specify the music source in the Extended Value field. The default is Ringback.
Audio for Camped-On Announcement Calls
4.38 This flag determines the functionality for camped-on hunt group calls that are listening
to an Announcement Station’s message when they transition from camped-on to ringing. If this
flag is set for ringback, the user will switch from hearing the Announcement Station to hearing
ringback when the call moves from camped-on to ringing. This is the current functionality. If
this flag is set for Announcement Station, the user will continue to hear the Announcement Sta-
tion when the call moves from camped-on to ringing. When the Announcement Station hangs
up (i.e., the entire message is played), the user will start to hear ringback. If, however, an agent
answers the call before the Announcement Station hangs up, the call is connected, and the rest
of the message is not played.
NOTE: The user may hear Music-On-Hold instead of ringback depending on how the system
is programmed.
Camp-Ons Allowed
4.39 If this flag is enabled, callers will be allowed to camp on to the hunt group when all
members are busy. If the flag is disabled, the callers will hear busy tones when no members are
available. In the default state, camp-ons are enabled. To allow callers to camp on to the hunt
group, enable this flag by selecting the current Value and then selecting the check box to place
a check in it. Then press
ENTER or select another field to save the change. (To remove the
check, select the check box again.)
