MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
IP Ports
PROGRAMMING
6
4.88 Static Gateway: Enter the default IP address (do not include the periods) of the gate-
way that is used to access the port. By default, this is 192.168.0.1.
4.89 Static WINS Server: Enter the IP address (do not include the periods) of the WINS
server that the system uses for name resolution. By default, this is 0.0.0.0.
4.90 Telnet and Web Server: Enable these options to provide access to the Web and/or Tel-
net interfaces that are used for troubleshooting purposes. By default, these fields are both
enabled.
NOTE: If using the IP port for the Board Utility, the Web Server option must be enabled.
4.91 Listening Port: Enter the port number that the CPC will use to process incoming
socket requests (e.g., for voice mail, OAI, DB Programming, etc.). The range is 1-65535, and
the default is 4000.
4.92 Web Listening Port: Enter the port number the CPC uses for Web access (i.e., for diag-
nostics). The range is 1-65535, and the default is 80.
NOTE: If using the IP port for the Board Utility, the Web Listening Port number must match the
port number assigned in the Board Utility (see page 3-174).
4.93 IP Address Assignment: BOOTP or DHCP: Enable one or both of these options to
assign a dynamic IP address to the CPC. If these flags are disabled, the CPC uses the IP
address identified in the Default Static IP Address field. By default, both of these flags are
enabled.
NOTE: Inter-Tel recommends using the static IP address for the CPC (and CP Server). If
using a BOOTP or DHCP server, the IP address may change, dropping any CT Gateway and/or
Voice Processing connections.
