Audio On Transfer To Ring
4.305 To select what outside callers (except those using DISA) will hear while their call is
being transferred, the Audio on Transfer To Ring option can be set for Music-On-Hold, Ring-
back, Silence, Tick Tone, Board, or Use Next Device’s Audio Source. (The feedback that
DISA callers hear is determined by the DISA Transfer tone system flag that is programmed on
page 6-259.) To use the audio programmed at individual stations, select
Use Next Device’s
Audio Source
. To use the audio programmed for the trunk’s music-on-hold, select Music-On-
Hold.
If you select Board, select the Extended Value and scroll to the desired board where the
music source is connected. When you have made your selection, press
ENTER or click outside
the field to save your change.
Audio On Transfer To Hold
4.306 This field specifies what callers hear when they are transferred to and held at a different
extension. The Audio On Transfer To Hold option can be set for Music-On-Hold, Ringback,
Silence, Tick Tone, Board, or Use Next Device’s Audio Source. (The feedback that DISA call-
ers hear is determined by the DISA Transfer tone system flag that is programmed on page 6-
259.) To use the audio programmed at individual stations, select
Use Next Device’s Audio

. To use the audio programmed for the trunk’s music-on-hold, select Music-On-Hold. If
you select
Board, select the Extended Value and scroll to the desired board where the music
source is connected. When you have made your selection, press

Audio On Hold For Transfer Announcement
4.307 This field determines what outside callers (except those using DISA) will hear while
their call is on transfer hold. After the transfer is completed, the caller will hear the Audio On
Hold For Transfer Announcement selection (programmed above). The Audio on Hold For
Transfer Announcement option can be set for Music-On-Hold, Ringback, Silence, Tick Tone,
Board, or Use Next Device’s Audio Source. (The feedback that DISA callers hear is deter-
mined by the DISA Transfer tone system flag that is programmed on page 6-259.) To use the
audio programmed at individual stations, select
Use Next Device’s Audio Source. To use the
audio programmed for the trunk’s music-on-hold, select
Music-On-Hold. If you select Board,
select the Extended Value and scroll to the desired board where the music source is connected.
When you have made your selection, press
ENTER or click outside the field to save your
change.
NOTE: If the trunk group’s audio field, including Music-On-Hold, is set to Use Next Device’s
Audio Source, the system uses the application’s programming. If the field is set to any other
option, such as Board, the system uses the trunk group’s audio source, overriding station pro-
gramming.
PRI Call By Call
4.308 (U.S. Only) Trunk groups that contain B-channels can be assigned a PRI Call By Call
feature to use for outgoing calls. The Trunk Group PRI Call By Call feature supports the fol-
lowing services:
• Call By Call Inactive
• AT& T WAT S Band
• AT&T Banded OUTWATS
• AT&T Foreign Exchange
• AT& T T IE Tr u n k
