Key Assignments
• Standard List or Alternate List: When you double-click on
Standard List or Alter-
nate List
, you see the stations that were assigned to the keymap during station program-
ming (see page 6-220). You cannot change these lists here, they are shown for reference
only. However, if user-programmable button values have been changed, you can use the
Default User Keys option to update stations in the selected keymap (or you can allow
the users to update their own stations by using the Feature Key Default feature code –
395). To default user-programmable buttons, do the following:
— To default ALL phones in the keymap, do not highlight any stations. Then right-
click and select
Default All User Keys. All of the stations on the list will have
their user-programmable buttons defaulted.
— To default one or more phones in the list, highlight the selected stations. (To high-
light a series of stations, hold down
SHIFT while selecting the first and last sta-
tions you want. To highlight two or more stations that are not consecutive, hold
down
CTRL while selecting the desired stations.) Then right-click and select
Default Selected User Keys. Only the stations you select will have their user-pro-
grammable buttons defaulted.
• User Programmable Keys: Select
User Programmable Keys to determine the default
values of the user-programmable buttons for the keymap and see a list of programmable
buttons 1-35 and their current Values. To change the Key Type, Selection, or Ring
When field for a programmable button at this station, do the following:
— Value: Select the current Value for the button and scroll through the drop-down
list until the desired button type is highlighted.
— Selection: The Selection programming required for each of the key types are as
follows:
DSS/BLF Key: Select the circuit or extension number of the station that will
appear under the selected DSS/BLF button. This defaults to the first valid
hunt group or extension programmed in the system.
Feature Key: Select the feature code that will be entered when this button is
pressed.
Hunt Group Key: Select the pilot number of the desired hunt group.
Intercom (IC) Key: No further programming is necessary. This button will be
used for seizing an intercom channel or answering a waiting intercom call.
Page Zone Key: Select the page zone 0-9 or 0-49 that will be used by select-
ing the page zone access code 9600-9609 or 9600-9649 (respectively).
Secondary Extension Key: Select the primary station that will be associated
with this secondary extension button.
Station Speed Dial Key: Select the station speed-dial location (0-9) that will
be assigned.
System Speed Dial Key: Select the system speed-dial location (000-999 or
0000-4999) that will be assigned.
Trunk Key: Select the individual trunk that will be selected when this button
is pressed.
Trunk Group Key: Select the trunk group that will be selected when this but-
ton is pressed.
Undefined Key: No further programming is necessary. This button can be
programmed by the user.
To program the selection: Right-click the Selection value and do one of the fol-
