Stations on the Local Node
— System Speed Dial Key: Select the system speed-dial location (000-999 or 0000-
4999) that will be assigned.
— Trunk Key: Select the individual trunk that will be selected when this button is
pressed.
— Trunk Group Key: Select the trunk group that will be selected when this button
is pressed.
— Undefined Key: No further programming is necessary. This button can be pro-
grammed by the user.
To program the selection, right-click the Selection value and do the following:
a. Select Change Selection. A window appears that asks you to select the type to
include.
b. Select the type (feature code, station, etc.) and then select Next. A list appears.
(You can view them in a list by selecting the List button or view details by select-
ing the Details button.)
c. Highlight the appropriate item and then select Finish. Your selection appears in
the Selection field.
• Ring When: This field allows the station to receive a burst of ringing when a certain
number of calls are present at a primary station, and at least one call is ringing or
camped on. The ring burst will repeat periodically as long as the programmed number
of calls are present at a primary station. (This period is determined by the DKTS Sec-
ondary Extension Key Alerting Tone timer.) If this field is set to 0, the secondary sta-
tion will never receive the burst of ringing. To set this number, select the current Value
and scroll to or enter the new value in the box. Then press
ENTER or select another
field to save the change.
Record-A-Call
4.257 The Record-A-Call software license is required, and a Record-A-Call application must
be created in the Voice Processor database. There are three fields for the Record-A-Call fea-
ture: Mailbox, Mailbox User-Keyed Extension Flag, and Application. Programming for each is
described below. The application and mailbox might not be on the same node as the station. If
so, the Voice Processor applications must be programmed as off-node devices on the local
node and the station must be an off-node device on the Voice Processor’s node (see page 6-
198).
