Music-On-Hold parameters
4.31 Systems can be programmed to determine the music source a caller hears based on the
device for which the caller is waiting. By default, the system determines the music source
based on the trunk group on which the call resides.
4.32 The following parameters are programmable for each voice processor application:
• Audio for Calls Camped onto this Device: Defines the audio that a caller who is
camped onto the device hears. The default is Board, and the default extended value is
01:08 Central Processor.
• Audio for Calls Holding for this Device: Defines the audio that a caller who is hold-
ing for the device hears. The default is Board, and the default extended value is 01:08
Central Processor.
• Audio for Calls Ringing this Device: Defines the audio that a caller who is ringing the
device hears. The default is Ringback.
4.33 Each of these parameters can be programmed for one of the following:
• Silence
• Tick Tone
• Ringback
• Board
4.34 To change the value of a music-on-hold parameter: Use the drop-down list box to
make your selection. If you select
Board, specify the music source in the Extended Value col-
umn.
NOTE: If the trunk group’s audio field, including Music-On-Hold, is set to Use Next Device’s
Audio Source (see page 6-234), the system uses the station's programming. If the field is set to
any other option, such as Board, the system uses the trunk group’s audio source, overriding
station programming.
Time Slot Group
4.35 Setting up time slot groups allows you to specify the total number of voice channels
available per application for processing calls between the System and the applications. To
select the Time Slot Group for the application:
1. Right-click on Time Slot Group. An options box appears. Select Change Time Slot
Group
. A window appears that asks you to select the type to include.
