spanning-tree Enable/Disable sending Spanning Tree traps.
snmp-server enable traps authentication
Use the snmp-server enable traps authentication command in Global Configuration mode to
enable the switch to send Simple Network Management Protocol traps when authentication
fails. To disable SNMP failed authentication traps, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
snmp-server enable traps authentication
no snmp-server enable traps authentication
Default Configuration
Traps are enabled by default.

This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example displays the command to enable authentication failed SNMP traps.
console(config)# snmp-server enable traps authentication
snmp-server engineID local
Use the snmpserver engineID local command in Global Configuration mode to specify the
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) engine ID on the local device.
To remove the configured engine ID, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
snmp-server engineID local { engineid-string | default }
no snmp-server engineID local
• engineid-string — The character string that identifies the engine ID. The engine ID is a
concatenated hexadecimal string. Each byte in hexadecimal character strings is two
hexadecimal digits. Each byte can be separated by a period or colon. (Range: 6-32 characters)
