ip irdp minadvertinterval
Use the ip irdp minadvertinterval command in Interface Configuration mode to configure the
minimum time, in seconds, allowed between sending router advertisements from the interface.
Use the no form of the command to set the time to the default value.
Syntax
ip irdp minadvertinterval integer
no ip irdp minadvertinterval
• integer — Minimum time in seconds allowed between sending router advertisements from
the interface. (Range: 3 to value of maximum advertisement interval in seconds)
Default Configuration
The minimum interval value is 450.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode.
User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example sets minimum advertisement interval at 100 seconds for VLAN 15.
console(config)#interface vlan 15
console(config-if-vlan15)#ip irdp minadvertinterval 100
ip irdp preference
Use the ip irdp preference command in Interface Configuration mode to configure the
preference of the address as a default router address relative to other router addresses on the
same subnet. Use the no form of the command to set the preference to the default value.
