ip unreachables
Use the ip unreachables command to enable the generation of ICMP Destination Unreachable
messages. Use the “no” form of this command to prevent the generation of ICMP Destination
Unreachable messages.
Syntax
ip unreachables
no ip unreachables
Default Configuration
ICMP Destination Unreachable messages are enabled.

There are no user guidelines for this command.

ip redirects
Use the ip redirects command to enable the generation of ICMP Redirect messages. Use the
“no” form of this command to prevent the sending of ICMP Redirect Messages. In global
configuration mode, this command affects all interfaces. In interface configuration mode, it
only affects that interface.
Syntax
ip redirects
no ip redirects
Default Configuration
ICMP Redirect messages are enabled by default.
