Example
The following example displays how to enable remote data change notifications.
console(config-if-1/g3)#lldp notification
lldp notification-interval
Use the lldp notification-interval command in Global Configuration mode to limit how
frequently remote data change notifications are sent. To return the notification interval to the
factory default, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
lldp notification-interval
interval
no lldp notification-interval
• interval — The smallest interval in seconds at which to send remote data change
notifications. (Range: 5–3600 seconds)
Default Configuration
The default value is 5 seconds.

Example
The following example displays how to set the interval value to 10 seconds.
console(config)#lldp notification-interval 10
lldp receive
Use the lldp receive command in Interface Configuration mode to enable the LLDP receive
capability. To disable reception of LLDPDUs, use the no form of this command.
