776 OSPF Commands
show ip ospf range
Use the show ip ospf range command in Privileged EXEC mode to display information about 
the area ranges for the specified area-id.
Syntax
show ip ospf range 
area-id

area-id
 — Identifies the OSPF area whose ranges are being displayed. (Range: IP address or 
decimal from 0–4294967295)
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC mode.
User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example displays information about the area ranges for the specified area-id.

show ip ospf statistics
This command displays information about recent Shortest Path First (SPF) calculations. The 
SPF is the OSPF routing table calculation. The output lists the number of times the SPF has 
run for each OSPF area. A table follows this information. For each of the 15 most recent SPF 
runs, the table lists how long ago the SPF ran, how long the SPF took, and the reasons why the 
SPF was scheduled.
