ipv6 dhcp relay-agent-info-remote-id-subopt
Use the ipv6 dhcp relay-agent-info-remote-id-subopt command in Global Configuration mode
to configure a number to represent the DHCPv6 the “remote-id” sub-option.

ipv6 dhcp relay-agent-info-remote-id-subopt

— Remote ID suboption. (Range: 1-65535)

is 1.

Example
The following example configures the number 100 to represent the DHCPv6 the “remote-id”
sub-option.
console(config)#ipv6 dhcp relay-agent-info-remote-id-subopt 100
ipv6 dhcp server
Use the ipv6 dhcp server command in Interface Configuration mode to configure DHCPv6
server functionality on an interface. For a particular interface DHCPv6 server and DHCPv6
relay functions are mutually exclusive.
Syntax
ipv6 dhcp server
pool-name
[rapid-commit] [preference
pref-value
]
pool-name
— The name of the DHCPv6 pool containing stateless and/or prefix delegation
parameters
rapid-commit
— Is an option that allows for an abbreviated exchange between the client and
server.
pref-value
— Preference value
used by clients to determine preference between multiple
DHCPv6 servers. (Range: 0-4294967295)
