console(config)#ipv6 mld snooping querier address Fe80::5
ipv6 mld snooping querier election participate
Use the ipv6 mld snooping querier election participate command to enable the Snooping
Querier to participate in the Querier Election process when it discovers the presence of another
Querier in the VLAN. When this mode is enabled, if the Snooping Querier finds that the other
Querier's source address is higher than the Snooping Querier's address, it stops sending periodic
queries. If the Snooping Querier wins the election then it will continue sending periodic
queries. Use the "no" form of this command to disable election participation on a VLAN.
Syntax
ipv6 mld snooping querier election participate
vlan-id
no ipv6 mld snooping querier election participate
vlan-id
vlan-id
— A valid VLAN ID. (Range: 1 - 4093)
Default Configuration
Election participation is disabled by default.
